02 June 2012 - First Schedule Details - The first schedule of the movie will go on floors from June 16,2012 in Ooty. Kajal Agarwal is roped in to play the female lead role in the movie. Currently, director Parasuram is busy in finalizing second heroine for the film.

15 May 2012 - Amala Paul Walked out - Heroine Amala Paul is opted out from the project stating dates problem. At present she is busy with Ram Charan's new movie in the direction of VV Vinayak. She is also considered as female lead role in Gouravam movie in which Allu Sirish would debut as hero. Apart from these movie she also signed a Tamil movie.
03 May 2012 - Movie Launch on May 23, 2012 - Mass Maharaja Raviteja who is currently busy with Puri Jagannath's 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' is getting ready to act under Parasuram direction. The movie is tentatively titled as Sir Osthara. The shooting of the film will be launched officially on May 23, 2012. Aswini Dutt is producing this movie on Vaijayanti Movies banner. Trisha and Amala Paul were roped in initially as the female leads in this film.
Meanwhile, Ravi teja's latest film film 'Daruvu' has completed its production formalities and getting ready to hit the screens on May 18th.
On the other hand 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' is under last phase of production. Ravi Teja will join Sir Vastara after completion of Devudu Chesina Manushulu.
