An event took place at Gandarwa Mahal, where Dasari Narayana Rao launched the Logo, Raghavendra Rao and Vara Prasad released the posters.Film unit is planned to release the audio on 18th May at Guntur.But it is been postponed now.[13]

Production
Manoj Manchu was quoted many times stating that UKUP was his dream project. The movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Director Shekar Raja worked as an assistant director under popular director Krishna Vamsi. This project although planned three years ago, the movie finally started pre-production in early 2011. Unlike her previous movies that were made under Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner, Lakshmi Manchu along with Manoj established Manchu Entertainments Banner to produce this movie. Balakrishna Nandamuri was approached for another important role in the movie, which he agreed to do. Dialogues in the movie are penned by Ala Modalaindi fame Lakshmi Bhupal and the Cinematography will be handled by B. Rajashekar. Rajashekar is also working with Manoj on his other movie Mr. Nokia.[5] On 6th June 2011 the film was officially announced and also the banner Manchu Entertainment was launched.[6] The regular filming began on 2nd August 2011 with Veronica Manchu switching on the camera while Manchu Lakshmi's husband Anand gave the clap for the first shot and Mohan Babu Directed the first shot.[7] The entire shoot of the film would be wrapped up in a single schedule. Initial schedule of it was completed in Manikonda by 16th August 2011.[8]. It was announced that Balakrishna would be essaying the role of Zamindar Narsimha Rayudu, and he joined the filming in Antarvedi along with Sonu Sood and Bhanu Chander. Lakshmi Manchu has announced that a huge Gandharva Mahal set was built with a budget more than 6.5 crores and more than 50% of the shoot would be done in it. Tamil version of the movie was officially launched on 15th December 2011 in Chennai.[9] By end of February 2012, almost 80% of the total filming was completed and filming of the climax will begin at Hyderabad in March 2012.[10]
Casting
Manoj Manchu will be seen pairing up with Deeksha Seth in the movie. Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen as Zamindar Narsimha Rayudu in the movie. Panchi Bora will be seen acting opposite him. Sonu Sood, Bhanu Chander, Sai Kumar will be seen in important roles in the movie.[11] Tamil actor Prabhu will be portraying another vital role in the movie. Brahmanandam, Sunil will also be seen in the movie.[12]Soundtrack
