Prefetch is a folder in windows...if we want to see that folder we have
to go to "c" Drive other wise open run in start and type Prefetch in Run..
it will open the Prefetch folder.

Many technology websites and bloggers suggests to empty prefetch folder
regularly to increase the performance of the computer.But in fact what the microsoft
had said that we need not to empty the Prefetch folder.

folder is self-maintaining,and there's no need to delete it or empty its contents
if you empty the folder,windows and your programmes will take longer to open the next time you turn on your computer.
